Lately I've often found that my locker has been getting detached from
a Solaris machine where I tend to log in remotely multiple times, from
different places, but some of my login sessions are still active when
I find this.
Currently, /var/athena/sessions/raeburn is empty, and I have three
login sessions that've been up for days. The mod time is 00:14 today,
which as far as I can tell doesn't correspond to the logout time of
any of my sessions.
All sessions are ssh, using Kerberos with forwarded tickets; no
rlogin, no password prompting, gets tokens, etc.
So, that data gathered, I tried a couple experiments. I set up two
login sessions, and logged out of one -- the second one in the first
experiment, and the first one in the second experiment. Afterwards,
both times, my home directory was still attached. Okay, not much
useful there.
Oh, yes, if it matters: My passwd file entry is saved in
/etc/passwd.local on this machine.
