What were you trying to do?
Trying to change the theme or desktop background
What's wrong:
The change takes effect for the present login, but logging out and back in results in the relevant setting reverting to its original state.
What should have happened:
The theme/background change should have stuck. :)
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
The problem occurred when using Sawfish or Metacity. I thought maybe it was related to the known theme issues in Athena 9.4.19/9.4.20, but this still happens in Athena 9.4.21. The problem was initially reported to OLC by gkenney.
