I verified this on both Sun and Linux; oddly, I don't see the problem with the
same acroread version on my non-Athena Linux laptop. I installed from an
rpm on the laptop and the tar.gz download for Athena, so there might be
some difference even though the versions report as identical (7.0.0).
I took a quick look at the Athena configuration (we add an extra launch script
in front of Adobe's) but can't see anything obvious we're doing that might
cause this; and launching directly from Adobe's script still displays the
problem.
Adobe also seems to have released 7.0.1 in the meantime. I'll try
this out next week to see if it helps, and will try to figure out
what's going on...
