Meanwhile, if I access my home directory from another machine,
mrow.mit.edu, it works fine.
Reading other things in AFS works fine. I looked around for another
locker that was on the same AFS server I was on by randomly checking
usernames that came to mind, and found that sly is also on
demeter.mit.edu. I can list her home directory fine.
