Suns (athena.dialup) are running a different Scheme version than Linux
machines (ozok-the-destroyer). It seems to be quite difficult to compile
scheme on RedHat Linux machines running 2.6 kernels. A few days ago I pointed
the scheme locker maintainers to a recent binary snapshot (from the page
at http://savannah.gnu.org/projects/mit-scheme/) that appears to
run on the current Athena release, which I believe they installed.
I don't know that there will be an easy way to get Suns and Linux machines
running the same release any time soon.
