But this is not the world we live in.
Freshman with no understanding of Athena are having this problem.
It's a *big deal* for Athena usability.
They come away the impression of "Athena sucks, I can't even use
it for trivial tasks. I'm not going to use this system at all."
The more hoops we add, the worse it gets. (And really, ideally, we
should detect the problem, or patch mozilla/firefox to do something
smart about it without requiring users to know this arcane command,
even if it is on SIPB's whiteboard outside the main athena cluster).
Maybe this is an issue for owls? It really seems to me like Athena
has cobwebs and sewage smeared on our front door, and that's
really unpleasant.
