When a machine is off the net, or at least seperated from mitnet (like
say when routing is down between MIT and comcast) and local-lockers
runs, /var/athena/local and /var/athena/local-validated are both
emptied. The latter sort of makes sense, but it would be nice if if
it didn't nuke the presumably mostly correct local copies so that it
can just re-suck them down the next night.
Feel free to tell me I'm just being grumpy because the network is
down, and I should let it go.
