Look in the directory /usr/tmp for a file "attachtab". If it doesn't
exist, run
cp /dev/null /usr/tmp/attachtab
and reboot.
The /etc/rc script should be doing this already, however. It may be
that the directory /usr/tmp itself is missing. It can be recreated
easily enough, but if that's gone wrong, there might be something else
amiss as well, that you might want a reinstallation to fix, if you
don't have too many local changes.
