I guess the other interesting piece of information is whether there was
an existing krb5cc_2367.1 and what its ownership and permissions are.

Kerberos's error-reporting infrastructure makes it tough to say what
you're not the owner of in situations like these.  A library function is
most likely handling the copying operation, and Kerberos library
functions can only return a numeric error code.
