System type, version: (RT/PC) Version 6.3B
System name: soup
What's wrong:
Xibm running on soup; window manager is mwm.
/etc/Xibm on soup is a link to /soup/u1/root/etc/Xibm; there is a copy
of that in /afs/athena/mit/wesommer/Xibm.mwm-bitmap, but it's
stripped. It compares equal to the one in /urvd/root/etc/Xibm, if
that makes any different.
First core dump:
Core file is in /afs/athena/mit/wesommer/core.Xibm.mwm-bitmap.
I started to run "bitmap /etc/athena/xdm/owl.xbm" when the X server
died on me.
The bitmap window (which was larger than the size of the screen)
appeared, including the mwm decoration, and the first vertical line of
the grid appeared; then the x server died.
Second core dump:
Core file is in /afs/athena/mit/wesommer/core.Xibm.mwm-lower.
In mwm, I hit <ALT><F4> to lower a window. Xibm dumped immediately
thereafter.
What should have happened:
It shouldn't have coredumped.
