When mwm is started on a workstation that is running xdm, all of the xdm
windows are remapped, creating a rather unsightly mess. Xdm should
probably destroy its windows when it is done with them (except, of course,
for the console window).
This is critical, especially if mwm is going to be the default in the fall.
