Not sure). Launching mozilla on a 9.3.8 linux machine, going to a password-protectd web site, I am promptd to enter a username & password, and the "Remember this password?" button is not checked. Examining the configuration in about:config and prefs.js, it looks OK. I notice in Edit->Preferences->Privacy&Security->Passwords that the "Use encryption when storing sensitive data" checkbox, though previously checked, is not checked right now. If I start the password manager, it claims I have no remembered passwords, though the signon.SignonFileName clearly has entries in it. If I check the "Use encryption..." box, then the password manager shows my remembered passwords. --jhawk
