What were you trying to do?
Since I went to 9.3.7, I've been having problems (3 times now) with
my system locking up during login. It looks like all the processes
get started, but then the keyboard and mouse do not respond. The
Console output is:

I did a remote login and saw the esd process using a lot of time. I killed it and the windows appeared and keyboard started working. I did not get sounds, but I expected that. The following messages appreared in the Console:
