Hi Rocco,

I launched "dia" on my Athena workstation, which also runs Linux Athena 9.2.29, and didn't observe any problem. The "what runs where" page at:

http://web.mit.edu/acs/www/whereruns.html

specifies the following commands for running "dia":

athena% add dia
athena% dia &

so I'm not sure how you found the commands you mentioned.

Would you try again with the simple commands above and let us know what happens?

Thanks,

System name: m12-182-25.mit.edu
Type and version:	i686 9.2.29
Display type: Intel Corp. 82865G [Springdale-G] Chipset Integrated Graphics Device (rev 02)

Shell: /bin/athena/tcsh
Window manager: sawfish

What were you trying to do?
Run Dia in the Graphics Locker. I used the following command:

	    gathrun graphics dia &

What's wrong:
A gdialog appears stating the following:

dia is not available in the graphics locker on this platform.

What should have happened:
The Dia version in this locker should run per the "What runs
	Where" full software listing.

Please describe any relevant documentation references:
I have the 6.170 locker added as well. I know that this
locker also contains Dia, but I think that it is in a
different location. Also, the current version of Athena also
seems to have Dia along with the dia locker.
