What were you trying to do?
	Start MATLAB with gdb using the -D command line option.

What's wrong:

	>matlab -Dgdb

"/mit/matlab_v6.5.1/distrib/bin/matlab": not in executable format: File format not recognized

        gdb is trying to debug a matlab startup script.

What should have happened:

	gdb should have loaded the matlab binary.
