What were you trying to do?
Send email messages using evolution
What's wrong:
Evolution reports the following error: "Error while performing operation: Summary and folder mismatch, even after a sync" Despite this error, the emails arrive.
In a problem that I suspect is related, when this first occurred I continued to send emails to several people, who have told me that those emails now continuously send themselves regularly. It seems to happen whenever I start up evolution (exiting evolution prompts a message: "You have unsent messages. Do you wish to quit anyway?") I would like to remove these messages so that the recipients are no longer being spammed.
What should have happened:
An attempt to fix the "folder mismatch" error according to Evolution help (deleting the inbox.ev-summary file) did NOT fix the problem.
