What were you trying to do?
Run "texdoc", a (la)tex command that prints latex
self-documentation.
What's wrong:
% texdoc slides
/usr/athena/bin/texdoc: line 1: acroread: command not found
Some of the documents accessed by "texdoc" assume that
they will be able to launch a PDF viewer. However,
default athena shells do not have PDF viewers available.
What should have happened:
Texdoc should have started acroread.
