Mozilla cannot be configured to use sendmail. Given that we don't
really support Mozilla mail, I don't think we would want to expend
significant effort dealing with this. However, currently we have a
problem, since Mozilla cannot be configured to use an external handler
(e.g. evolution) for mailto: links. It looks like Mozilla 1.6 (now in
alpha) is finally going to address this shortcoming, at least according
to the release notes. If the timing works out, my choice would be to
upgrade to 1.6 when it is released, and just configure the mailto:
handler accordingly. I believe the only other feasible solution would
be to set preferences such that outgoing mail uses username/password
authentication and SSL. (We could make these default preferences, but
it looks like the username would still need to be set explicitly).
