Ok, so what happened to the other Hesiod servers? If one goes, the
others should be taking its place. What you are saying is that none of
the three were reachable... The only time that I can think of where
there may be some confusion is during the database reload on suomi (15
minutes?).
Also, if the user has noticed that the "machine name" label on that
workstation does not match the machine name, I tend to wonder if someone
has tampered with the workstation; I have seen this before in a cluster
where someone played with the hostname of one of the workstations in
building 66 and messed up (the workstation was then scrod and left for
dead, but never reported for THREE months -- cluster patrol would never
have seen a problem since it had the normal "Hit any key to start"
prompt). It still may be a good idea to do a reload of this other
workstation if the user is correct in that assessment.
