Do you have any ideas on this one? Was it already fixed in 6.3 or is it
still a problem?

Subject: xmh version 2.3.1 on release 6.2A

I was moving messages from my inbox to another folder. Then I opened the other
folder and deleted some messages. Then I pressed 'Pack Folder' and the message

scan+ The scan command is not supported on this machine

appeared in the window which usually contains message lines. Ever since then,
I have not been able to open that folder anymore. If I try to open it,
I get the same message about the scan command. If I try to open the
folder in a new window, sometimes the whole xmh program just terminates
: the window disappears and I have to type xmh & at the % prompt again.

I can still read my mail using mh, but for a while, even when I typed
scan in an xterm window, I would get the response that scan was not
supported. I opened a couple more xterm windows, and finally, scan worked.

I got back into xmh and opened another folder, and selectd 'Rescan
Folder'. The same message appeared 'scan command is not supported'.
Now that folder cannot be opened either.

Sorry to be so lengthy.

I guess I will be using mh for a while, until I find out what I am doing wrong.
