I've been getting quite afew "-ERR Bad kerberos data" error messages
in my loggin window. I don't know why. At the very least, if such a
message is given, it should also tell me what action caused it.
(Though, it'd be nice if it just went away.)
I also got another message that I assume is something someone out there would want to
know:
-ERR unable to lock maildrop: "/usr/spool/pop/bgardner"
Now, as a side-note...Last night, before my kerberos ticket expired,
I sent a message to jbs@athena (and got a little zephyr msg
saying that (because I Cc:'ed it to myself) new mail arrived and
it was the msg I'd just sent out. About 5 or 10 minutes later,
I got a second zephyr message saying I had more new mail, and that
it was Jeff's (jbs's) response. So, I "inc"'ed my mail...but it wasn't
there. So, I continued to inc my mail every 10 minutes or so for about 30
or 40 minutes...it still didn't arrive, so I went home. Today, I came in
and inc'ed my mail, and got 5 or 6 msgs..but still, the msg from jbs hadn't
arrived.
Now, perhap I mis-read the zephyr and for some reason I just got 2
zephyrs about my outgoing msg.... Who knows, I'm only human.
But I thought I should mention this, and ask if ity has anything
to do with the '-ERR unable to lock maildrop: "/usr/spool/pop/bgardner"'
error message I got in my loggin window ?
