The new version of the fortran compiler (as well as the old one )
are having trouble sending output to the screen - this probably has
something to do with a set of new c i/o libraries to which this stuff
is linked - its a mess.
The problem is on the RT's. The way that fortran used to
be implemented (i/o and other stuff) is using a bunch of
interface routines to eventually use low level c functions
to do stuff. I assume this hasn't changed - thus , I would
guess there's something wrong at that level.
