What were you trying to do?
User was trying to open mozilla.
What's wrong:
User gets error message "application 'gdialog' has crashed due to a fatal
error (segmentation fault)"
What should have happened:
User should have gotten the "Delete Lockfile" prompt.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
This appears to occur with people who had problems with converting their
preferences from gnome to gnome 2. Athrun release fixpanel doesn't help
either. One user said that they noticed this happening with various other
problems but could not recall which ones when asked. Transaction 180 in
oweb has some info. Currently we're telling people to delete the lockfile
manually. Was unable to reproduce problem with a test account or with
my personal account. Will try to get a corefile from the current user if
possible.
