Please stick to one bug report per message. You may not get a complete
response to all of your bug reports, because I can only comment on some
of them, and other developers may erroneously decide that the whole bug
report is taken care of.
The caps lock problem will be fixed in the next patch release.
CD problems under Solaris are being tracked by another developer; I
thought the fix was in 9.2.15, so I don't know why you're having
problems.
You can run sdtaudiocontrol to control volume on Solaris. The menus
should get fixed; I'll send an explicit request to the appropriate
people about that, since they're unlikely to pick it out of this
exchange.
