I was there when Xterm was first written, and I'm REALLY disappointed
that the latest and greatest offerings of terminal emulators get this so
very wrong.
Fencepost errors in the selection boundry setting:
Repeat by:
Fill a gnome terminal with text.
Highlight text to include the newline at the end of a line.
Notice that the first character of the next line is always part of the
selection.
For lines that contain a non-whitespace character at the end of a line,
and a non-whitespace character at the beginning of the next line, do a
double click to "highlight a word". Notice how the selection includes
the word and the last character from the previous line.
VERY disappointing.
