You reported 1:
In an xterm window, even though my .login has
setenv PRINTER nil
I default to lpp. Didn't do this 'til I switched to 6.3A.
2) zwrite from all windows but .login wouldn't allow you to backspace
I talked to you aand discovered that you were starting your windows from
your window manager which was started from the global Xsession file.
Therefore your environment was not setup correctly.
We have since made fixes to the user files in /usr/athena/.login and
/usr/athena/lib/init_windows to startup the window managers in there.
The window manager will not be started in the master Xsession any more.
Unfortunately, you have modified your .login file to not source
/usr/athena/.login anymore and you will not have a window manager
running the next time you login unless you incorporate the changes made
to the above file.
Also, in the future in reporting bugs for 6.3, please send them to
rt-testers or vs-testers as the case may be.
Keep the bug reports flowing.
