System name: phuket.mit.edu
Type and version:	i686 9.2.15 (with mkserv)
Display type: Neomagic Corporation NM2200 [MagicGraph 256AV] (rev 20)

Shell: /bin/sh (/bin/athena/tcsh?)
Window manager: fvwm2

What were you trying to do?
	reinstall my machine

What's wrong:
somewhere along the way, the IP address was set blank. Then
when syncconf tried to update it later, the entry in the
	/var/athena/rc.conf.sync made syncconf break

What should have happened:
syncconf should have a empty-value test for when it writes
it's sync file so that it doesn't break on the next time it runs.
