yow.
i noticed upon login that:
NEW SOFTWARE RELEASE: All public cluster workstations will be
updated to Athena release 6.2A between Wednesday and Friday. For
release notes, type attach info and see the file /mit/info/Release6.2A.PS
This release may cause your windows to appear in one corner of the
screen; use -geometry 80x24-0-0 instead of the old =80x24-0-0.
so i attached /mit/info, went there, and found the named file. of course,
it was not postscript, as one might expect given its name. instead, it
was a unprocessed scribe file.
well, i'm a bit interested in seeing what's gonna change, so i decided
to look at the file. but i'd really rather _not_ wade through pages
and pages of scribe. so i tried to scribe it, at which point the following
useful error message comes up:
Error found while processing database entry for document type at r6.2a.mss, line
10:
No definition found in the data base for document type RELNOT on device POSTSCRI
PT.
kinda annoying.
