Hi, sorry for the long response time.

I have a few questions which might help me track this down, or at least
judge whether it's severe enough to delay putting Evolution 1.4 out to
the Athena cell.
* How often does this happen?
* Do you have any better idea of the length of the seemingly endless
period of time? (You doubtless would have said so if you did at the
time of your bug report, but it's been a few working days, so maybe
you've had a chance to time it.)
* Similarly, do you have any better characterization of what triggers
the pauses? Does anything happen in the main Evolution window when the
pause starts, or just after it finishes?
* When you say "no control of the cursor," do you mean that the mouse
pointer doesn't move when you move the mouse, or that the text cursor in
the Evolution message window can't be moved, or something else?
Thanks.
