Zip drives are horribly broken

I conclude that essentially no zip drives in the W20 cluster work properly
from a user standpoint -- "SUCK."

A number of them are physically damaged (missing eject buttons, at least).

On Suns, while iostat -E reports the drive, I cannot prtvtoc or
dd from it.

On Linux machines, the drive referred to by mtoolstest is not
the same drive referred to in /etc/fstab, and mtools do not work.
The /etc/fstab drive cannot be mounted as non-root, but can be
successfully mounted as root, which is not reasonable to expect
users to do.

I think someone from dev needs to actually go to a cluster and look.
The current state is pretty sad.
