I'm told that 'bugs' is the correct list to forward errors found on Athena.
Please write back and tell me what's being done, or what I can do to help.

My name is Jonathan Monsarrat; I'm writing courses at Project Athena for
the summer. Thus, I've been working with some of the new 6.2A machines.
While playing with RS/1, I've noticed that there are some serious
formatting problems with the table editor. I logged into a 6.0R to test
a hypothesis and discovered that it worked just fine on 6.0R.

The edit mode of RS/1 separates a text window into two portions: a matrix
portion where the RS/1 table is created, and a typing portion, not
unlike Emacs's 'echo line' and 'work space'. In 6.0R the RS/1 in the
athena "rs1.new" directory works just dandy. However, for revision 6.2A
the two areas of the screen overlap.

It sounds like I should be talking to the people at Athena in charge of
the upkeep and athena-compatibility of RS/1. I work in E40 full time
and would be happy to demonstrate. My number is x3-0189.

Thanks!
