Thank you for your patches. If you had looked, you would see that we
already have them in our sources. When Barry reported the problem last
week with XtTextInvalidate, I checked to see if the the problem existed
in X11R3, and it did not. The sources for Xaw that we are running did
not come straight from the Consirtium. Instead, Ralph gave us new
working versions that already had those patches.
The other part of Barry's problem was due to the R2 Xibm server. I
verified that the problem with xmh XtInvalidate existed if you ran the
R3 binary on an R2 server. Therefore, the fix is simply to update the
world, and relink with the current X libraries.
