Attempted to install RH Athena onto a new WD 180G harddrive (model
number WD1800JBRTL) This drive comes with a Promise ATA100/TX2 ide
controller which was installed (*). The RH Athena install would run
sucessfully until just after AFS was loaded. At this point the
install would hang. I was sucessful in installing RH by running the
drive as a 130G unit off of the primary ide controller and conceding
the extra space on the drive.
I don't know if the issue is with the installer assuming hda (the sole
disk showed up as hde under RH9 disk druid) or the lack of a ATA100
level driver in whatever kernel that kickstart is using, or some other
issue.

(*) The disk/controller runs fine under both win2K and at least the
initial disk druid portion of RH9 install as a 180G drive.
