Yesterday evening, I had occasion to reinstall a cluster Linux Athena
GX110. At the end of the installation, during cleanup of the install.log
file, either a core dump or a bus error (I can't recall which because I
just caught it as the screen blanked for reboot) was indicated at the end
of the line that says:

"Cleaning up and saving the install.log file... "

The install was successful, and the install.log file does appear clean of
control characters. However, it's truncated and ends with these lines:

 514:athena-xdsc ########################################### [ 91%]
 515:usermode ########################################### [ 91%]
 516:gnorpm ########################################### [ 91%]
 517:util-linux ########################################### [ 91%]
 518:initscripts ########################################### [ 92%]
 519:apmd ########################################### [ 92%]
 520:arpwatch ########################################### [ 92%]
 521:aumix ########################################### [ 92%]
 522:ipchains ########################################### [ 92%]
 523:portmap ###########################################

The file size is 77824 bytes. I haven't figured out the cause yet, or whether
it's hardware or version specific. Since the code involved is mine, I'll
debug it at some point, but since it doesn't affect the success of the install,
since the install.log query hasn't made it into a patch release yet, and since
I'm hosed with schoolwork, I figured I'd send mail to make the issue known,
and in case anyone else feels like debugging it sooner.

Mitch
