What's wrong:
When $TERMCAP isn't set, ispell doesn't bother looking at the size
fields in the tty structure (as reported by stty size), but assumes the
size is what is specified by $TERM's entry in /etc/termcap.
What should have happened:
ispell should check the terminal sizes like stty does.
[Most other programs we have do this right.]
