I agree that these aliases are pointless now. I have submitted a patch
to get rid of them.

source-developers is not really intended for non-full-time-staff to send
to (except when they have something relevant to say about something
which has already been sent, of course). source-reviewers would be fine
if you had a patch; not everything that goes there has to be
functionally agreed on in advance. But the most theologically correct
answer is probably "suggest".
