You can "update_ws 9.1.18" to back out a patch release.  Or, you can
force-downgrade the kernel and openafs RPMs together if you know what
you're doing.

Changing kernels at this point would severely impact our testing.  (The
patch release is scheduled to go to field in four days; if we put that
off, then we lose all the benefits of the IAP quiet period for testing
things in the field.)  But it's still an option.  I'll be interested to
know if -19 solves the problem.
