It's not really a bug so much as a feature request for the installer;
release-team is probably a better place for that sort of thing.

This isn't the first time this has come up, and I'm hoping to have this
functionality in the next version of the install media. (Which is due
shortly, due to the midyear hardare update for the IBM cluster machines,
which require a different network driver. Grr.)

Well, there are at least a few other drivers on the boot floppy which
might be useful. There are a few kB left over, though; if you're seeing
a lot of cases where having a particular driver available on the boot
floppy would be useful, by all means send mail and I can see about
fitting it in.
