What were you trying to do?
Edit an "Author" field that I just inserted into a Star Office Presentation
by selecting "Insert -> Fields -> Author". This made a verry narrow, blank
box that would normally go around a text or graphics object. When I clicked on this box (with the mouse cursor indicating text entry, like it does when you've
got the mouse over an emacs buffer or a terminal window, X crashed.
What's wrong:
X Shouldn't crash when I try to edit a blank Author field in the Star Office
presentation program.
What should have happened: I should have been able to enter some text
(my name) into the Author field I created by clicking on it. (I was
able to reproduce this bug once on the same machine, too hosed to go
around trying other machines).
