There's a question in the OLC queue about problems running evolution on a
new Athena-linux install. We also had a walk-in from a different user
a few weeks ago about seemingly the same problem (evolution not
working on a newly installed Athena-Linux machine). None of the
consultants (myself included) seem to know how to diagnose what's
going on in these cases.

According to the user in the queue, it doesn't start by somehow giving the
following message (I don't know if it's a popup or on the console):
"Cannot initialize Ximian Evolution shell. Configuration database not
found."

I think the previous user (the walk in) was having a very similar if not
identical error.
