Below is the response I sent to a user currently in the OLC queue (in
pickup, at the moment). It looks like there may be some problem with the
mozilla wrapper script on Suns, or with mozilla on Suns itself. The
problem does not occur for me on linux or Suns, but it is reproducible
on the paco account.

With regard to your question, it appears that there is
currently a bug with the way mozilla runs on Sun machines at the
moment:

If you run mozilla more than once, whether by clicking on the icon
twice, or by running the command 'mozilla &' twice, or some
combination of the two, then you'll get more than one 'copy' of
mozilla running, instead of multiple windows of one 'copy' mozilla.
Apparently, the two copies of mozilla interfere with each other, so
that you can't view the same site in both of them at the same time.

To avoid this error until it is fixed, don't run mozilla more than
once, since it will just make more copies. Instead, create new mozilla
windows from the original mozilla by selecting

"File -> New -> Navigator Window"

on the menu in mozilla, or by typing [Control]-n in mozilla.
