After consulting with release-team, I was planning to overwrite 1.0 with
1.01. There just didn't seem to be much need to keep both in this case,
the 1.01 patch does not affect interface in any way that I know of, and it
doesn't cause any significant new breakage I know of. Is there a reason in
particular that you'd want to keep 1.0 around?

I mean, we can on principle (and I certainly would not replace it with a
new major revision, but this is definitely a minor upgrade).
