What were you trying to do?
Use ^L at the tcsh prompt to clear my screen.
What's wrong:
It moved the cursor to the home position.
What should have happened:
It should have cleared the screen before (or in the process of)
moving the cursor.
What were you trying to do?
Use reset to fix the above problem.
What's wrong:
It did the same thing.
What should have happened:
It should have cleared the screen and fixed the behavior of ^L
at the prompt.
Note that selecting "Do Full Reset" from the xterm menu did successfully
fix the behavior of ^L, although the reset program continues not clearing
the screen.
