I think the counter problem is fairly straightforward: Mozilla 1.0 has
no XBM support, which is usually not a problem because XBMs are rare.
Mozilla 1.1 does have XBM support, so the problem will be fixed when
Todd upgrades to that point.
I don't know the details of the jpeg problem, but Mozilla 1.1 displays
the Tech Squares logo fine for me, so it seems to have the same
ramifications.
