Wait, wait, never mind. These programs are in the graphics locker, which
is where I expected them to be in the first place - should have trusted my
instincts. I mistakenly assumed that if configure couldn't find them,
'which' couldn't find them either. Now I will poke configure with a pointy
stick until it gets with the program. Sorry about that.
