Well, this is a bit more complex than I first thought. It seems to depend
on the display-

When I run remotely and display on my workstation (Sun Ultra 5) I get the
error consistently, whether I log in as myself or a generic test user, and
whether I'm logging into a Sun or a Linux machine.

When I log in at the console, I don't see the problem when logged in as a
generic test user, on either a Sun or Linux machine. When I log in at the
console as myself, I consistenly get the error on Suns of all Kinds (Ultra 5,
Ultra 10, blade..), but I don't get it on Linux.

The only obviously relevant difference between my account and the test account
is that I have a large number of bookmarks- maybe 300 or so. The test account
has a small number.

                                     Alex
