What were you trying to do?
Enter addresses in the To: list while composing an
e-mail message. (This is a follow-up to my earlier
	report on this subject.)

What's wrong:
Various kinds of erratic behavior, all inconsistent:
	- Sometimes, after typing the first letter or two
of an address, the contacts dropdown will appear
and then no further typing will be possible.
        - Sometimes after selecting a name from the drop-down
list via the cursor keys and hitting the return
key, the drop-down will not go away. Clicking
in the field with the mouse seems to be necessary
to clear this. This seems to happen most often
if you select multiple recipients after entering
initial recipients in From: and Cc: and typed
a subject. When this happens, Evolution will
not release the mouse focus to another window
	  (e.g., I can't click away a zephyr message).
        - After typing in entries in the To:, Cc:, and subject
lines, the typing focus follows where the mouse
cursor is currently hovering, *not* where the
last click was in the window. While window focus
in X windows will often follow the cursor, if
you've so selected, I've never before seen the
typing focus change with the mouse *within a
single window*. It's possible to see multiple
text insertion pointers blinking at the same time,
which is confusing, to say the least.

What should have happened:
        - Selecting a name from the address book should
be more reliable and consistent. Using the mouse
	  should not be necessary.
	- Typing focus should go in the field where the last
click went, not where the cursor is currently
	  floating.
