This is fixed in 9.1.14 for public machines; private machines can
manually take /afs/athena/system/rhlinux/config/9.1.14/etc/group if you
want to see the name instead of numberical gid.

I would guess that either the next release will have the permissions
fixed, or we'll explicitly state that we don't want kermit to have those
bits by default and people will have to deal with it.
