Internally, Pine has one and only one INBOX. Pine firmly believes
that any folder named "inbox" is THE one-and-only INBOX, and reuses
its one-and-only INBOX even if you try to open some other "inbox"
(such as ~/mail/inbox or #mh/inbox). The only way I've found to work
around this is to put all desired "inbox" folders into the
incoming-folders list, as is done in /mit/sipb/share/pine-imap.conf:

incoming-folders=#mh/inbox,
        mail/inbox
