Interesting; I don't see any other machines in this state,
including machines that have been installed very recently. Can you make
sure the sys and adm groups have the correct gids in /etc/group (sys
should be gid 3, adm should be gid 4)? If those are correct, I'm not
sure what else to suggest; finding no other machines in this state makes
me think this one is haunted.
